Elevator Pitch 1

The opportunity that I explored in my customer interviews was a reliable, personalized on-campus student transportation avenue. Currently, the only option for students to get around after dark is SNAP, which is slow and inefficient. The system is so poorly run on all levels but my idea is to utilize the existing infrastructure (and name!). The application will provide students with knowledge of where the vans are at all times as well as where other students are waiting to be picked up. There will be more than 3 vans and students will be dropped off according to the time in which they ordered the ride, rather than based on the discretion of the drivers (who usually like to fill up the van with kids before dropping the first passenger off). I have a few more ideas that will seriously improve the functionality of SNAP as a whole and I look forward to sharing them with my blog readers as they develop.

Here is my elevator pitch:

  1. Hey Ryan!

I loved your elevator pitch because it was very intriguing! I feel that your idea is suitable to every person especially on campus and can be way more reliable than snap! The system isn't that good and there should definitely be an alternative to it like you stated! Thanks for sharing your pitch, keep up the great work Ryan! I think the UF campus plus others will love it!

  2. Hey Ryan,

I think your elevator pitch was very good and professional. I think your idea is fantastic because even though SNAP is a good idea, it never works the way I would like it to. With your plan, it would be much more reliable and I would actually use it more than Uber.
